Lynchburg, Virginia has always been my home and I knew I wanted to stay here so in 2008 I made my big move to follow my destiny. I bought Forest Hill Insurance Agency from my grandfather who had owned and operated the agency since 1983.
While I was earning my bachelor’s in business administration from Mary Baldwin College, I began working for my grandfather during summer and on holiday breaks. I then gained experience working as an underwriter for four years before taking the steps to agency ownership.
I am honored to carry on my grandfather’s legacy. In 2009, I won a trip to Alaska in recognition of my service, which of course, I took my grandfather with me. He’s the reason I do what I do.
When I’m not working, I relish spending time with my husband and daughter. We enjoy taking walks together and visiting the playgrounds and community market. I also love to make day trips around the area and explore the many hiking trails Lynchburg offers.
I’m proud to operate my agency in my hometown. My team is highly knowledgeable, with an average of 15 years of insurance experience. We genuinely care about customers and are proud to assist them as they make decisions that help protect what matters most: their family, home, car and boat.
Stop by and see us! We look forward to getting to know you.

I grew up in the small town of Madison Heights, VA and spend my free time watching my children grow into amazing adults.

Also, I love helping the youth in our community.

I grew up in Florida, always working in Customer service. I worked for nearly ten years as a customer-facing service representative and for the last six years as an over the phone representative.
I am an active member of my church. The people there treat everyone like family, and we spend our lives together. I also enjoy hanging out with the college students that are a part of the college ministry at my church and my life group.
Other than that, I really like Black and White movies, and I enjoy working with Habitat For Humanity.
I have been in Insurance Business for 27 years. What most excites me about work is helping people with their insurance needs and protecting their families.

Guilty pleasure, talent or interest? I have been playing the drums just for kicks for about eight years.
Finally, when it comes to giving back, every October I work/donate with my friend’s campaign “Casting for Recovery” for BCA research.
I began in the insurance industry in 2009. I was a Life and health producer. I took a break from insurance to work in other industries but ended up returning when I realized how rewarding it was to be able to make a positive impact in people’s lives.
I pride myself on making sure that my customers know they are in good hands, and that they have the insurance and protection that they and their families need.
I was born in Atlanta, Ga. I moved to Richmond, VA in high school and attended Lynchburg College. Between High school and College, I served in the military. I was deployed to Iraq and Kuwait in 2007. Upon returning home, I worked hard to complete my Bachelor’s Degree and join the civilian workforce. I have stayed in Lynchburg and have grown to love the community. I am grateful that I get to have an impact here and help the people of Central Virginia.
